🩸 menstrual products
🧷 and diapers
for our partners in Eastern Navajo Nation.

There was a specific request for L/XL gloves, so if you’re holding or can score those especially, we will get them where they are needed!

We call Juni the "Lazy Baby" because while all of us were working our asses off during this pandemic trying to sew and coordinate mask donations to farmworkers (which is what Juni's mom Super Auntie Laura did while nursing), Juni just sat around looking cute.

Sure Juni hadn't yet learned to walk or talk yet, but was that really a legitimate excuse for not learning how to use a fabric power saw or serger? We think not! Hence-- LAZY BABY!

Anyway, even though Juni has yet to finish sewing ONE mask, we still honor her as the "OG LAZY BABY" and we congratulate her mother on finally awakening her interest in sewing, as pictured here...

Oh yes, and while you don't know how to thread a needle yet, we congratulate Lazy Baby on learning to walk and talk during the pandemic. I guess we can't learn ALL the talents in the first year of life can we? 😍😍😍

When Aunties collide! Our Aunties were mostly strangers before the pandemic but this labor of sewing for other strangers has brought together new friendship. Here's a picture of Aunties Kathleen and Adriane!

"Spent a wonderful morning extended walk with Arianne, another Auntie from my hometown . What a treat to connect and learn about each other. We both grew up in Hayward and have so many connections. Turns out we both work in higher education and for the same system. Love getting to know you and talking about work, sewing, sewing outside of masks and just about life in general. ❤️❤️Our Auntie Kathie is a BEAST on the sewing machine! She just finished making 1400 masks!! Total is now 4085 for Auntie donations & 4650 total. ❤️❤️

She's given 565 masks family, neighbors, friends, a dog rescue (Angel City Pit Bulls) & Revolutionario North African Tacos to distribute to Korean elderly.
