AUNTIE LEILANI, UNCLE OVA & THEIR SON NOUTHAK
Not only are they running the nomadic theater company TeAda Productions but together they have produced close to 2000 masks! These three hold down our “Westside Hub” which holds and distributes sewing materials for all the Westside Aunties. They also helped secure the very precious donation of saffron monk robe fabric from the Lao Temple in Richmond, CA that has been cut and sewn into masks by many of our Aunties. Auntie Leilani even cut her hula costumes and costumes from her one woman show to become masks for our first shipments to the Navajo Nation. Also, they are incredible artists! They are photo’d here enjoying a boba delivery from caring Auntie Lindsay Kerns.
